Without a weave or mesh to become clogged with mud, this bandage will not absorb water whatsoever when used on a wet track. Soft, yet tough and durable with no fasteners of any type required. Sealtex sticks solidly to itself–yet to nothing else. It won’t loosen and it lasts!
The latex bandage doubles as a pretty effective bit wrap for broken rubber bits. Sealtex is made of pure latex so if your horse or you have a latex allergy, Sealtex latex bit wrap might not be the best solution for you. Won’t absorb water and surface does not attract mud or dirt. Sealtex sticks to itself and stays in place. The low profile, won’t add much bulk to your bit.
